PND Engineers, Inc. is an Alaska corporation originally formed in 1979. The firm has offices in Anchorage, Juneau and Palmer, Alaska; Seattle, Washington; Houston, Texas; and Vancouver, British Columbia with a staff of 130 employees, just more than half of whom are licensed professionals. PND has an extensive background in marine facilities - placing particular emphasis on coastal Alaska communities - chiefly small boat harbors utilizing timber, concrete and steel floats; boat launch ramps; drive down floats; staging areas; transit yards; travel lift facilities; all types of docks including ferry, cruise ship, military, cargo, timber, and ore docks; fender and mooring systems; facility master planning and utilities. PND’s staff has the versatility and experience to provide engineering design, environmental, geotechnical investigations, surveying, coastal engineering studies, dredging design, construction inspection and administration, and permitting tasks for waterfront projects statewide. Hundreds of successful projects are testimony to PND's reputation for designing innovative facilities to perform under the toughest conditions and meeting the most demanding schedules and design criteria.
