AAHPA Scholarships 2023

The AAHPA is pleased to offer annual scholarships to qualifying Alaskan students going into fields of study or vocation related to the maritime industry and environment. 

The 2023 Scholarships application period is now OPEN. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 25, 2023

AAHPA, with support from our members, Pacific Pile & Marine, and Resolve Marine are pleased to offer three $2,500 scholarship opportunities. In addition, AAHPA member TRANSPAC Marinas is partnering with us again to offer a $5,000 STEM scholarship. 

2023 AAHPA Scholarship: APPLY HERE

There were 19 applicants for the 2022 AAHPA Scholarship. Of the 19 applicants, two $3,400 scholarships were awarded:

  • Elin Antanya, Juneau, Alaska
  • Hannah Moody, Ketchikan, Alaska


There were 15 applicants for the 2022 TRANSPAC STEMP Scholarship. Of the 15 applicants, one $2,500 scholarship was awarded to:

  • Gerwin Mateo, Unalaska, Alaska
