Alaska Chadux Network (ACN) is a member-funded, 501(c)(4) nonprofit oil spill response organization headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska. ACN is classified as an Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) by the US Coast Guard and registered as Primary Response Action Contractor (PRAC), and a Streamlined Plan Cleanup Contractor for both Nontank Vessels and Noncrude Tank Vessels & Barges with the State of Alaska for all regions in Alaska, except Southeast. ACN's staff comes from a diverse professional backgrounds, including the oil industry, the USCG, wildland fire management, and emergency management. ACN provides resources to contain, control, and clean up petroleum spills. Their headquarters and warehouse, located in Anchorage, has resources packaged for rapid transport via land, water, or air. ACN has additional equipment hubs in 16 other strategic locations including: Utqiagvik, Bethel, Cordova, Dillingham, Kodiak, Nikiski, Fairbanks, Nome, Seward, Unalaska, Adak, King Cove, Homer, Kotzebue, Valdez, and Whittier. In addition to response equipment, ACN can provide incident management personnel, emergency response laborers, and wildlife hazing and capture personnel. ACN also assists its members to prepare for spills by providing planning and training services.
